A school born from a simple frustration
PROXYCODINGSCHOOL was founded in 2022 by a small group of senior engineers who were tired of seeing brilliant young Nigerians graduate from universities with degrees that left them unemployable. Degrees were expensive. Outcomes were uncertain. Tech was exploding everywhere except in the classrooms.
So we started teaching on weekends. Just six friends, crammed into a small apartment in Lagos, learning to build real software. Word spread. By month three, we had 25 students on a waitlist. By the end of the year, we'd incorporated, hired our first full-time facilitators, and launched what is now Proxy Tech Hub.
Four years later, our mission hasn't changed: make world-class tech education accessible, affordable, and — most importantly — actually effective.

The Idea
A small team of senior engineers met every weekend to teach six curious friends. Word spread fast.
First Cohort
Launched with a single Web Development cohort of 25 students. 23 completed, 19 were hired within 4 months.
Scaling Up
Expanded to 5 tracks: Web, Mobile, Design, Data, Security. Hired 12 facilitators. Crossed 200 graduates.
Industry Partnerships
Signed hiring partnerships with Paystack, Flutterwave, Kuda, and Piggyvest. 95% placement rate achieved.
Digital Transformation
